Meet the Priority Management Scotland Team

Established in Glasgow in 1998, Priority Management has an outstanding reputation in Scotland for getting results and delivering behaviour change. Clients span the private, public and charitable sectors in both large and small organisations. Gilly MacMorran leads her hand picked team of experienced professionals and their knowledge of working practices, management behaviours and how to get people to implement change is second to none. Trainers and coaches undertake a 6 month programme of training and accreditation to enable them to deliver the Working Sm@rt programme. The Priority Management team all have the skills to motivate, challenge, tailor and pitch delivery appropriately depending on the level and experience of their groups. Customer Service and Administration during the entire training process are second to none.

Gilly MacMorran

Gilly established Priority Management in Glasgow in 1998 and has grown a highly successful business in Scotland. Gilly’s background and management experience was  in finance, sales, marketing and training, in a variety of roles at HSBC Bank, Mars Confectionery and Kettle Foods.  With a strong business background and great interpersonal skills, Gilly is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer and developer of people, an inspirational public speaker and a good business woman.  High standards and expectations throughout the business from administration to delivering training have resulted in strong client relationships, extremely satisfied customers and a significant market presence.  The secret to success?  ‘be brilliant at what you do and be patient when building a team – always wait for the right people!’.  The team in Glasgow is strong, individual and very experienced at what they do. In addition to running the business, Gilly is married, has 3 boys, swims, loves hill walking and skiing.
Gill Macdougall
Gill MacdougallHead of Training
Gill is a truly outstanding trainer of people and a memorable and motivating person. She has been with Priority Management since 2003 and has a second to none grasp and knowledge of all our programmes. Entirely comfortable at all levels in organisations, Gill’s ability to challenge the status quo, motivate people to take action, teach everyone our Working Sm@rt processes, deliver tangible results and ensure everyone has a good time, is first class. Gill has a degree in HR and worked in several generalist HR roles before moving to BT for 10 years, ultimately joining the senior leadership team. She then ventured out as an independent Business Consultant working for blue chip organisations both in the UK and abroad. Gill lives in Eaglesham and is fanatical about achieving a work/life balance. Not always easy to achieve as she juggles 2 teenage children, 2 black Labradors, running and going to the gym. Not to mention organising husband Stuart!
Elspeth Webster
Elspeth WebsterOffice and Administration Manager
Elspeth trained as a secretary and spent 10 years as PA to Managing Director at Sutcliffe Catering working at Board Level. Elspeth joined Priority Management in 2002 and her remit over the years has expanded with the business. Elspeth is basically the engine behind the smooth running of workshops and is responsible for ensuring that every client is at the right place at the right time with the right things. In addition, she manages and plans our huge coaching programme – which is no mean feat! As if this was not enough, Elspeth deals with all aspects of administration from finance and IT and ensures the office runs smoothly. Her highly professional and organised outlook ensures that all out clients know exactly what’s happening to them and when.

Leigh Milligan
Leigh MilliganHead of Learning & Delivery
With a background in financial services, education and technology, Leigh has worked across a variety of global projects from small scale, local coaching programmes to leading one of the largest education transformation projects in Europe. Leigh led a highly professional learning team as they deployed over 60,000 Apple products to staff in schools and then designed and delivered the subsequent training. Leigh is passionate about professional learning and leveraging the power of technology to enhance productivity, knowing that when used appropriately, it helps people build a more sustainable work/ life balance. Leigh is also accredited and used to working with channel partners such as Apple, Microsoft and Google. In her spare time, Leigh skis, hill walks and paddle-boards with her husband and 2 sons.
Mimi Stansfeld
Mimi StansfeldBusiness Development Director
Prior to joining Priority Management in December 2019, Mimi had an extremely successful career for 22 years in business development within the recruitment sector. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with people at all levels and within a multitude of industries and businesses including Wealth Management, Finance, Insurance and Schools. Mimi has a degree in Combined Honours from Newcastle University.
Mimi is a wonderful asset to the Priority Management team; she helps to drive the business forward and maintains strong relationship with our clients and potential clients.
Mimi lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two children and toy poodle dog, called Muffin. In her spare time she is a keen sportsperson who loves outdoor pursuits including, skiing, walking, tennis and swimming.

Barbara Mennie

With a BA in Hotel & Catering Management and an MPhil degree, Barbara joined Priority Management Glasgow in 2003. With a strong business background in a worldwide Quality of Life services company and great interpersonal skills, Barbara is a great coach and trainer. She has first-hand skills in business training and an exceptional knowledge of the operational aspects of managing a business. She is very adept at encouraging clients to be confident in taking the decision to change their behaviour and to become more productive in their working environment. Barbara really motivates and encourages you to take action and make the changes you need to to make life easier for yourself. Barbara is an avid skier and regularly tries to fit in trips to the Alps when she can.
Jean Barr

Jean started her career in recruitment and spent 14 years with Kelly Services, starting at the front line in recruitment to ultimately holding a Senior Management post responsible for opening new branches, responsible for Sales, recruitment of staff, training and coaching whilst ensuring that budgets were always exceeded. After the rigours of a tough and very pressurised job and environment, Jean trained as a Coach and for the last 14 years Jean has been with Priority management as Personal Effectiveness Coach. Jean has an exceptional knowledge of our products, wide reaching experience in implementing best practices across different organisations and job roles and is really adept at encouraging clients to make the changes they would like to but maybe don’t initially have the confidence to do so themselves.
Susanna Schraag

Susanna moved to Scotland in 2005. She is a trained physiotherapist but has decided to embark on different career opportunities since. As a native German speaker she excelled in translating and interpreting for various clients, founded a popular catering business and holds a key sales and marketing position in an international trading company. Susanna has a wealth of experience with people gained over the years and decided to focus on coaching too. She started as a coach for Priority Management in 2011 and is passionate about helping our customers make changes they will benefit from. Susanna values individual approaches when dealing with clients. Susanna is also our expert MS TEAMS coach.
Pauline Bell

Pauline has been with Priority Management since 2013. Originally a graduate in business management, she held a variety of management roles within the catering sector. A career change brought Pauline into the start up business sector as an adviser for new businesses for 10 years. Most recently she ran the volunteering team of a Business charity covering Scotland. Pauline’s main strengths centre around people, mentoring and coaching which she enjoys incorporating into all aspects of her life. Her first hand knowledge of how businesses operate lends itself to the variety of talents she shares with Priority Management clients. Pauline enjoys spending time with her grown up family, friends and travelling. She has recently taken up curling! Pauline is a first class coach and really knows how to identify where people need help.
Tonya Macari

Tonya is a Law graduate of both Aberdeen and Glasgow Universities and holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School.

She started her career at the sharp end of the commercial world as a client account manager at the global HQ of advertising giant WPP before spending many years working in media and communications in both the UK and abroad.  Tonya moved into the world of training x years ago and has strong experience in running senior management development programmes in a wide range of different organisations.  Tonya joined Priority Management in 2013 as an additional member of the training team.

Now based in her hometown of Edinburgh, Tonya spends her spare time running around after her teenage children, going to the gym and eating as much chocolate as she can reasonably get away with.
